Eclectic were briefed to create events that would be able to run within their 6 flagship stores. The events would be run on a Saturday at 12 noon at the end of the Month. At pitch stage Eclectic ensured that we assessed the general look and feel of the stores to ensure that the sets created and the logistical set-up suggested were both in line with the stores requirements and physically possible.
The concept was donned "Events with a Difference" and consisted of Fashion shows and Interactive Cooking shows. Page to Pictures ran a competition mechanic that invited Woolworths shoppers to win a makeover or a lunch at their favourite Woolworths store.
We created interactive fashion shows utilising top stylists and entertainers in each show. The fashion shows included celebrity guests from the Woolworths Real People campaign and brought these celebrities closer to the Woolworths shopper.
The opening of each show incorporated a introduction to our makeover winner and the finale was a reveal of the "New Look Customer" The lunch included tips on how to style your dinner table utilising top stylists such as Annemarie Meintjies and Tina Bester. 8 Woolworths customers who had entered the competition got to enjoy the experience of learning great new recipes and cooking live in-store with celebrity chefs.
These events were extremely successful and well received by the consumers.
